WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Goods-In-Transit Insurance
This policy provides you with coverage for your goods whilst in or on or being loaded on or unloaded from any road vehicle or goods train, any inland waterway or whilst housed in the ordinary course of transit whether on or off the said conveyance against loss of or damage by fire, theft or accidental means within the geographical area set out in the policy. Any business that is involved in moving goods between locations should consider goods in transit cover.
Marine Cargo Insurance
This policy covers loss or damage to goods and/or merchandise whilst in the high seas or air inland transit by road or rail. The cover provided is mainly in respect of marine perils, riot, strike and civil commotion and war perils. It serves as a solid protection for businesses involved in international trade, providing compensation against risks associated with importing or exporting goods either by sea or air.
Stock Floater Insurance
This policy provides indemnity against physical loss or damage to stocks whilst at the insureds warehouses and/or rented warehouses in various locations (for fire, special perils, theft and other associated perils) or whilst in transit including temporary storage (for transit risks). This policy is ideal for those clients who handle large volumes of moving stocks such as distributors.
Stock Throughput (STP) Insurance
This is a marine policy that insures your inventory and the flow of goods from the source of production to its final destination, whether at a place of storage or a retail store. It is a marine cargo policy designed for companies that import, distribute, or export merchandise. It has three components - ocean cargo insurance. inland transit insurance and property or storage insurance.
Carriers Liability Insurance
Provides indemnity against legal liability arising directly out of accidental physical loss of or damage to property/goods in the custody or control of the insured whilst in transit including temporary storage, loading and unloading incidental thereto and happening within the territorial limits specified. The policy is ideal for companies that transport or hold goods in trust e.g. transporters.
Warehousing Liability Insurance
Provides indemnity against legal liability arising directly out of accidental physical loss of or damage to property/goods in the custody or control of warehouse operator during the storage process, including cross-docking, packaging, and storing. The policy is ideal for warehouse operators and logistics service providers with warehousing activities.
